GREETING
Our company has been involved in the production of a wide variety of fabricated metal products, including electric motors and generators, primarily focusing on components for railway vehicles.
In particular, we excel at “thin sheet metal fabrication” and “precision welding,” which require advanced technology involving machining, and we meet our customers’ diverse needs, from single prototype parts to small-lot mass production.
Our ability to flexibly handle OEM production and small-batch, high-mix manufacturing has been highly praised, and we are currently designated as a “certified factory” by several major electronics manufacturers.
Furthermore, in addition to thorough quality and environmental measures, we have established an integrated system utilizing our cross-industry network and a “hybrid production system” with our own factory in Vietnam (V-HONEST Co.,Ltd.). We can flexibly respond to all needs, including cost and mass production.
With the technology and spirit of inquiry we have cultivated since our founding, we will continue to pursue manufacturing that contributes to society, striving to be “a partner chosen by our customers.”

February 1939
Daisuke Yumino (first president) founded Yumino Iron Works in Hitachi City.
November 1957
Katsuta factory opened;
Yumino Shimo inherits the position of second-generation president.
April 1963
Yumino Iron Works Co., Ltd. established
with a capital of 3 million yen.
October 1970
The head office will be relocated to the Katsuta factory,
and the company name will be changed to “Yumino Metal Industry Co., Ltd.”
July 1975
Capital increased to 28 million yen.
December 1978
Production will be consolidated at the Katsuta Plant to streamline operations.
June 1980
Koji Yumino succeeds as the third president.
July 2005
Taiji Yumino succeeds as the fourth president.
